Unruly Splats introduces students to the exciting world of coding through active play and teamwork.
This course empowers kids to learn block coding basics by programming Unruly Splats to light up, make sounds, and count points when stomped on. It's designed to blend STEM learning with physical activity, encouraging students to move while they engage with early computer science concepts. Kids will explore Data Collection, Sequencing, and Debugging in a thrilling playground. Predict, collect data, code, and fix errors while having a blast!

About Unruly Coding Junior: Coding Playground
Unruly Coding Junior: A Splash of Coding and Splat Fun is designed in alignment with the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) standards, ensuring a comprehensive and balanced approach to early digital literacy and coding education. This course invites young learners to dive into the world of coding through engaging, hands-on activities that combine motion and technology using Unruly Splats.
Our curriculum seamlessly integrates NGSS principles with English Language Arts (ELA) crossovers, fostering both scientific inquiry and literacy skills. By exploring coding concepts through interactive play, students enhance their technical abilities while developing problem-solving and communication skills. Each lesson is thoughtfully structured to include a mix of coding exercises and physical activities, promoting a balance between screen time and active play. -
