4 Hour PME Daily Schedule
4 HOUR PME DAILY SCHEDULE
Time Activity Description
45 minutes Literacy & Homework Support Snack, connect with staff, share expectations and schedule for the program that day.
Daily Journal and Homework help. Staff support students with homework, and when they are done, they can complete the day's journal page. Pages go home monthly with students.
15 minutes Break Time Take bathroom and drink breaks, and set up for programming.
60 minutes STEAM Stations Students will spend 2 weeks engaged in a curriculum to develop new skills and work towards mastery.
Maker Station: Students will complete a variety of screen-free STEM and MakerSpace-style projects while studying art and design concepts.
Computer Lab: Students will explore a variety of digital skills, coding, game design, and other technology-based activities.
30 minutes Guided Recess Games and activities are organized by staff to include sports, circle games, and quiet spaces. Will leverage the Sports Sampler Kit + Soft foam dodge balls, rubber hand balls, jump ropes, bean bags, hula hoops, hacky sacks.
45 minutes Sports Programming Basketball, Soccer, Field Hockey, Yoga, Tennis, Flag Football, Kickball, Volleyball, and Field Games are all options for sports. The specific sports that are selected will be based on the facilities available to BAM.
15 minutes Durable Skills Durable skills curriculum to include a group conversation, situation re-enactment, and game.
30 minutes Homework Help, Guided Activities, and Structured Freeplay Staff on hand to continue to help with homework, while others organize guided games from the summer camp material or larger sports games.
Quiet Station
QUIET STATION

The quiet station will be utilized by students that have completed the Literacy and Homework Support or who do not wish to participate in the current sport, if participation in the program is deemed optional. Here are suggested items for that station:
