  • The exceptional team of educators, mentors, and coaches at Brains & Motion is guided by Bart Epstein who served for many years as a professor at the University of Virginia School of Education, ran a U.S. Department of Defense tutoring program for military families, and founded the nonprofit EdTech Evidence Exchange.

    In his free time, Bart has served as a pilot for Angel Flight and as a civilian test pilot for NASA. He’s held key leadership roles on the boards of ISTE and ASCD. For fifteen years he’s run a nonprofit that purchases more than $1 million of clothing and warm blankets for over 70 homeless shelters each year.
