About Robotics & Engineering Lab with LEGO & Micro:bit
This camp combines robotics, coding, and engineering to teach problem-solving and innovation. Campers will learn to program with Micro:bit and build complex machines with LEGO, developing skills in sensors, motors, and circuitry. Tuesday: Gadget Innovations

Wednesday: Engineering Explorers
Brace yourself for dynamic design challenges! Campers will push their engineering skills to new heights as they build and test exciting projects like robotic arms, vehicles, or other moving contraptions. With every iteration, they’ll refine their creations, transforming raw ideas into functional, innovative robots ready to tackle any obstacle!
Thursday: Team Robotics Challenges
Teamwork makes the dream work! Campers will collaborate in groups to take on large-scale robotics challenges. From coding intricate sequences to constructing complex systems, this day is all about sharing ideas, solving problems together, and creating something truly extraordinary as a team. The results? Bigger, better, and smarter machines!
Friday: Innovation Showcase
It’s showtime! Campers will present their robotic creations to an audience of family and friends, explaining how they were designed, coded, and built. Whether it’s demonstrating a gadget in action or walking through a robot’s unique features, the showcase is a proud celebration of creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. Get ready to be amazed by what these young engineers have accomplished!
Course Format
This course is part of a weeklong summer camp running Monday through Friday. Your child will learn in a small group setting on an inspiring university campus from an experienced instructor. An exciting daily schedule balances learning and exploration of this topic with a variety of outdoor and recreational activities within the larger camp setting. Lunch and aftercare options are available based on location.
