Using Unruly Splats, campers turn coding into a physically active challenge, programming and then stomping their way through custom games. With Scratch, they’ll design interactive projects, blending game logic with playful collaboration.

Every week’s unique theme ensures a new adventure, keeping kids' energy high.

Add sports, big camp games, and new friendships, and you have a recipe for a summer packed with excitement, discovery, and fun. It all culminates in a showcase where creativity and coding skills shine brightly!

  • About Jr. Coding with Splats + Scratch

    This camp blends physical activity and technology to teach foundational coding skills. Campers will use Unruly Splats to merge coding with movement, fostering creativity and computational thinking. Scratch introduces them to game design, helping them build interactive stories they can share with others. Weekly themes inspire fresh challenges, while teamwork builds resilience and collaboration. By week’s end, campers leave with newfound skills and endless enthusiasm for STEM!

Dive into Unruly Splats and create your first stomp-activated game.

Tuesday: Race and React

Design and program relay races using Unruly Splats, building teamwork and coding skills while staying active.

Wednesday: Beat the Sequence

Explore the power of loops and patterns by creating rhythm-based games that challenge memory and quick thinking.

Thursday: Splats Olympics

Collaborate to code and play multi-sport challenges, combining coding concepts with real-world problem-solving.

Friday: Game-Makers Showcase

End the camp by programming custom games and sharing creations in a camp-wide interactive play session.

Course Format

This course is part of a weeklong summer camp running Monday through Friday. Your child will learn in a small group setting on an inspiring university campus from an experienced instructor. An exciting daily schedule balances learning and exploration of this topic with a variety of outdoor and recreational activities within the larger camp setting. Lunch and aftercare options are available based on location.
